JINGDEZHEN · IMPERIAL REPRODUCTIONS

Treasures of
a Thousand Years,
Reborn by Hand.

Museum-grade reproductions of imperial Chinese porcelain — faithfully crafted by master artisans of Jingdezhen. Hand-painted, hand-signed, each piece a homage to a civilization.

Scroll

For one thousand years, the kilns of Jingdezhen have served the imperial court.
In 1004, the Emperor of Song bestowed upon this town his reign name — Jingde.
Every piece we make is a continuation of that lineage.

THE GUI STANDARD

Every work bears two marks — the imperial reign mark of the original, and the personal signature of the master who recreated it.

PRIVATE COMMISSION

From Archive to Hearth.

Inheriting a millennium of Jingdezhen mastery, each commission is undertaken for a single patron — and never repeated in the same form. Collection works are released in numbered editions; Homage works, as singular pieces. Six to twelve months, from the first conversation to the moment it stands in your home.

01

Selection

Choose from our register, or propose a piece from the historical record. Some patrons seek a known treasure; others, a work that exists today only in archives. Either path begins the same way — a private conversation.

02

Research

Our scholars study the original — its dimensions, glaze chemistry, brushwork, and provenance — drawing on museum archives and the literature of each dynasty. Nothing is begun until the source is understood completely.

03

Forming

Master throwers shape the body on the wheel, entirely by hand. Form is found, not forced — sometimes over many attempts, until the proportion answers to the original.

04

Painting

Cobalt or enamel is applied freehand, without transfer or stencil. Every brushstroke is a reading of the original — the confidence of the line, the depth of the blue, the breath between strokes.

05

Firing

Reduction-fired at 1,300°C, three to seven days in the kiln. The fire is the final author; some pieces emerge transformed, others must return to the wheel. We submit only those the kiln has blessed.

06

Delivery

Hand-carried, fully insured, accompanied by its wax-sealed certificate and a private documentary film. When it arrives, you receive not only the piece, but the complete record of how it came to be.
